I had just finished my tea at Laduree yesterday. I decided to walk off all those tasty Parisian sweets I had. Starting from the Upper East Side, I ended up walking down 5th Ave. When I got to Rockefeller Center I realized quickly something was different.
Oh yea, there is a 45 foot “Seated Ballerina” sitting in the middle of the square. Jeff Koons, one of the most prolific living contemporary artists, whom has had pieces sell at auctions for as high as $58 million. This is a show stopper that competes with the iconic “Christmas Tree” that goes there every year.
